The National Youth Agency’s vision is of a world where every young person can access youth work.

Youth work matters because it changes lives; it helps young people to feel safe, thrive and have their voices heard, enabling them to take charge of their own futures.

Last year marked the 60th anniversary of the NYA and also the start of a new five-year strategy to rebuild the youth work sector, attract new entrants into this rewarding and varied career and ensure that youth work is valued for the impact it has on the outcomes of young people.
